SampleScience just put out their 1960s Drum Kit - which is essentially exactly as described, although its not clear what brand or kit is used in this recording, they've gone for  the Kit recorded to tape through a variety of authentic signal paths to give 12 distinct kits. These are as follows:

05. Tape Saturated Kit
06. Spring Reverb Kit
07. Drum Plate Kit
08. Vintage EQ Kit
09. Tube Radio
10. Vinyl Kit
11. Wax Cylinder Kit
12. Vintage Film Kit

The UI allows for individual mix of each from drum mic, distortion, delay reverb and sub effects to enhance the sound, though we can see a room mic - which would have played quite a large part in the sounds back then for many classic breaks.

The 1960s Drum Kit is a 467MB download and is priced at a very reasonable $30.
