Superbooth 22: Tubbutec - 202 Modification And 6m0d6

US Modified classic takes the pain out of 202 programming      14/05/22

Superbooth 22: Tubbutec - 202 Modification And 6m0d6

Tobias from Tubbutec presented us with a whole bunch of goodies.

Firstly we got to see the prototype of the Roland MC-202 firmware and display replacement. Those of us who have programmed the sequencer on the 202 know that it's, well, a little trying, but Tubbutec have given the 202 a new sequencer with more patterns, chains, and song mode, and there are even new envelopes, LFOs and arpeggiators, all working in harmony with the original 202 synth engine.

6m0d6 is based on the Roland TR-606, and indeed can sound like one, but is capable of a wide range of sounds outside the scope of the original.

MC-202 Modification available soon. Price: TBC, about 300 euros

6m0d6 available now. Price: 649.99 euros incl. VAT
