You may have heard and or seen the name Tom Erbe in relation to some Make Noise modules. However back in 1999 Tom Erbe made the decimate plugin, now 16 years later he will be updating the Soundhack range of plugins.

He has taught experimental music, electronic music, and music technology at Mills and CalArts, and currently teaches at UC San Diego.

We talked to Tom about his re-evaluation of his soundhack plugins and also about his relationship with modular and how the two inform one another
