I used a ProMix01 for years and never heard zipper noise other than the occasional murmur from the faders. Audio path is squeaky clean. Truly intuitive to operate. Input jacks (1-8 XLR, 9-16 1/4") are a nuisance and always get in the way. Harsh sounding EQ is good for corrective measures but not for sweetening. It's a steal for what it sells for these days, provided it's in good working order. (2 spams to remove from my email addy)

ProMix 01 has "white noise" on several channels - not present when faders are down - have been told it's a common problem. Anyone have a solution?

I recently purchased a yamaha promix 01 digital mixer. Upon examination, I discovered that one of the channels does not work. Someone told me that this particular mixer has a common problem but did not elaborate. Does anyone know what the common problem is and how to remedy it? Any help is appreciated.........!
