Arturia Adds IO To AudioFuse  World With X8 IN And OUT


Arturia has announced the launch of the AudioFuse X8 In & Out, aimed at enhancing studio and live audio setups with its comprehensive ADAT expansion capabilities. This new offering from Arturia provides high-quality line-level inputs and outputs, catering to the needs of producers and engineers seeking to extend their existing audio interface connectivity.

The AudioFuse X8 In & Out includes two main units: the AudioFuse X8 IN, an 8-channel analog input expander, and the AudioFuse X8 OUT, an 8-channel analog output expander. Key features of the AudioFuse X8 In & Out include:

AudioFuse X8 IN:

  • Eight analog inputs: 8 line-level analog inputs.
  • Sample rate selector: Choose from 44.1, 48, 88.2, or 96 kHz for optimal analog to digital conversion.
  • Pad and VU meter: Apply pad to each channel and get real-time visual feedback.
  • Link option: Link adjacent channels for synchronized adjustments.
  • Clock and sync modes: Word Clock Input with termination switch for device synchronization.

AudioFuse X8 OUT:

  • Eight analog outputs: 8 line-level DC-coupled analog outputs.
  • Dual ADAT in connectivity: Utilize 8 channels at higher sample rates.
  • Word Clock input: Sync with digital devices for sample-aligned conversion.
  • Clock selection and SMUX mode: Adjust clock source and sample rate for flexible connectivity, supporting ADAT SMUX up to 96 kHz.

Arturia X8 In and Out Rear panels

Both units are mountable in a 1U 19" rack unit (each is half rack) and come with the AudioFuse Creative Suite, providing a versatile toolset for studio scalability and hardware control. This suite includes various software tools and effects, enhancing the overall functionality of the AudioFuse X8 system.
