New Set of Compact UAFX Pedals With DSP Inside

US Reverbs, delay and compression      23/08/23

UA are continuing to expand their range of stompboxes - with a new set of more compact boxes. They are essentially putting some of their excellent DSP plug-ins or derivatives of inside a piece of hardware. Many of these have taken algorithms from the larger stereo pedals.

There's the Orion Tape Echo, 1176 Studio Compressor, plus a couple of Reverbs - the Heavenly Plate and the Evermore Studio Reverb - interesting that they've broken the verbs in to separate pedals.

It should be noted that these are mono in and out pedals, which does seem a little counter ,given that the reverbs certainly would sound better in stereo...

Nice video from Rabbea Massaad, we assume they will also sound great on synths too.

They are all priced at $219 except the 1176 which is $199
