A Certain Ratio's groundbreaking post punk anthem Shack Up carved the way for leftfield dance music in the early 1980's. They have now reimmerged on German label Relish Records. In this Going Solo, Relish label boss Robi Insinna describes how his obsession with small indie labels like Factory Records inspired him to start his own label and how he met ACR, Franz & Shape and The Dave Gilmour Girls who helped him create a unique sound for European dancefloors. A 4 track EP featuring all the music on this podcast is available from the Relish Records website.
