Libraries Convert to EXS24 & Kontakt Formats

US Sonic Implants begin the migration      30/06/03

Sonic Network, Inc., a.k.a. Sonic Implants, makers of sound libraries, announced the release of several of its libraries in EXS24 and Kontakt formats. First to be available are the popular Drum Series 1, Afro Cuban (Latin) Percussion and Silk Road Middle Eastern Instruments CD-ROMs, with the full sized version of the acclaimed Symphonic Strings Collection available in EXS format July 1st. “These two new synthesizers are really powerful and they sound great,” explained Jennifer Hruska, President of Sonic Network. “It’s no wonder we were getting requests every day from Kontakt and Logic/EXS24 users, asking us to port our libraries into those formats. These are only the first releases. The entire product line will follow.” "This is native programming," added David Fox, Director of Sales & Marketing. "We don't just convert the samples from one format to another. We work within each software synth to create unique programs, using the filters and effects of that particular synthesizer. For the Drums in particular, you will find many instrument variations using Kontakt’s and EXS’s filters and delay effects."
