The microchips inside synthesizers revolutionized their ability to expand on sounds, portability and features. This video looks at two of the companies which became hugely influential when it comes to synth design, in great detail. Here are soe examples of machine which use Curtis ICs in their designs: SQ-90, MemoryMoo, Linn Drum, OB-Xa, Matrix 12, Roland Jupiter 6, SH-101, Prophet 5, Pro One, Waldorf Wave and more!
