50-Year Old Minimoog In Action

US A musician celebrates the Synth that he bought in 1972      06/10/22

We received an email from Bill Wolfer, the proud owner of a Minimoog Model D that he bought in 1972. Bill has made a video to celebrate its 50th anniversary. He told us, "I bought this Minimoog Model D in 1972, and have had it ever since. It was recently restored, so I made a video to celebrate it and its birthday!"

Bill tells us that all the sounds are straight from the Mini plugged direct into a Focusrite interface connected to an iPad, with reverb and echo provided by the iPad and says thanks to David Rogoff for the excellent restoration work.
