US Analog live sound mixing setup in detail      06/07/22

Audiophiles can often be found peering behind the scenes at live concerts, perusing the mixing desk and casting a beady eye over the mix engineers choice of beverage. In this video we see more than a glance at the front of house setup for Red Hot Chilli Peppers from David Rat - who has also worked with Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, The Offspring, and Blink 182.

In this video from 2016, he takes us methodically through the setup, pointing out every element and explaining its place in the setup - including detailing the effects, compression, metering, gates EQs and more. We shared a simitar video not too long ago showing behind the scenes at Dr Dre's studio.
