Updated Distortion Plugin For Korg Synths

US Sinevibes releases Corrosion v2 multi-algorithm distortion effect      28/04/22

Sinevibes has announced the availability of a new effect plugin for KORG plugin-capable synthesizers: the Corrosion v2 multi-algorithm distortion plugin. They say that it features a total of 10 different distortion types such as saturation, clipping, wave folding, wave shaping, and more.

A spokesperson told us, "Each of these algorithms affects the input signal in its own unique way – dramatically enriching its spectrum and emphasizing the smallest fluctuations in its waveform. This plugin is built using 2x oversampling to reduce aliasing, for a cleaner high-frequency response. It also includes self-leveling output gain, and an input gate envelope for eliminating static analog noise."

NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 2.0
- Added 5 new algorithms: parabolic, soft clip, sine clip, sine foldback, binary shred.
- Increased maximum input gain, plus added output gain self-leveling.
- Improved sound quality with better anti-aliasing via a steeper downsampling filter.
- Upgraded noise gate algorithm with exponential release stage and higher threshold.

COMPATIBILITY
- KORG prologue
- KORG minilogue xd
- KORG Nu:Tekt NTS-1

Pricing and Availability:
Corrosion v2 is immediately available for $19. The upgraded version is free for those who already own the previous version of this plugin.
