Adding Ear Candy To Your Music

US Andrew Huang digs deep into the mix      25/03/22

Last year we reported on an excellent video by LetsSynthesize which expertly demonstrated  how to add excitement to a mix. This time round we have Andrew Huang sharing some of his top tips on making aurally-appealing audio. In the video, he adds SoundToys Little Alter Boy to juice up some vocals, shows how to use impacts, and demonstrates how subtle elements have a cumulative result on the overall sound.

It's a brilliant array of advice and tools for making small alterations to build a bigger, more intricate and exciting picture. He uses some samples from Splice, and offers up a Moog Matriarch for one lucky viewer. Enter the competition here:  https://gleam.io/DUaBv/andrew-huangs-moog-matriarch-giveaway
