Disclosure's Collab With Zedd Uncovered

Disclosure are no strangers to dance floor fillers, and in combination with super-producer Zedd they recently released 'You've Got To Let Go If You Want To Be Free'. They're admirably open to sharing their techniques too, and here we have another example, where Guy breaks down the entire track and it's production elements in detail.

Using plugins from Sound Toys, Valhalla DSP, FabFilter and many more - we get incredible access to the processing behind the track alongside the vocals by Howard which were recorded on the Neumann U87. Guy is not only an amazing producer but he's a superb educator; explaining the entire track in clear and simple terms. Look out for a subtle yet genius use of a vocoder!
