With original patch cartridges selling for silly money, OSHPark have taken it upon themselves to create and affordable storage solution for the Ensoniq ESQ-1/SQ-80. These 64kb EEPROMs are both read and writable (instructions on the PCB) and store 2 banks of 40 patches for the synths. They're also offering schematic designs and CAD files for a 3D printed case to be released under an open source license in the near future.
A great solution to anyone who's been scouring ebay for original storage cartridges. All the details on the Tindie page: https://www.tindie.com/products/zensynth/oshdiy-ensoniq-esq-1sq-80-eeprom-cartridge/
