We recently looked at Jean Michel Jarre's epic rig rundown for a performance of Oxygene. This time we have a sneak peak at Dr Dre's studio, as expertly guided by his studio engineer Richard Huredia. It's not only an impressive collection of equipment including Studer A820 Reel to Reel, AMS Reverb, Pultec EQ, Lexicon 480 and more - each piece is admirably described and demonstrated by Dre's engineer. You'll also hear some top production tips  along the way. 

If you want to know more about Dr Dre The Defiant Ones is a tremendous documentary about his career and long standing friendship with Jimmy Levine. And if you ain't up on things, you may not know that Dr Dre recently hit over 1 TRILLION streams of his song Still Dre, after a Superbowl performance, and the track was originally written by Jay-Z!
