Sononym: Machine Learning Sample Browser Updated

Sononym is a sample browser which organises your sounds using machine learning, and it's just been updated to version 1.3.1. The software has numerous features including what they call a 'similarity search'  mode - a special, audio-focused search which they built from the ground up. Here are the highlights of this latest update:

  •  Faster Access to Libraries
  •  Select and Search/Export Audio Regions
  •  Favorites, Quick and Simple
  •  System Clipboard Support
  •  New Columns: Date Added, Crest Factor
  •  Tweaked Filter Panels
  •  Better Handling of Missing Files and Folders
  •  New keyboard shortcuts
  •  Other tweaks and bug fixes

Here's an introductory video on the software:

You'll find numerous testamonials on their site, and more information about the update here.
