A free 4 week course is being offered by Berklee Online introducing anyone to the fundamentals of Ableton Live - ran by Erin Barra and Loudon Stearns. Their website says:

Ableton Live is not only an ideal tool for recording, but it can also be used for composing, arranging, mixing, and especially performing.
