NI Gives Away KONTAKT Instrument

US YANGQIN delivers traditional Chinese hammered dulcimer sound 22/12/20

Native Instruments tells us that they are making their brand new KONTAKT instrument, YANGQIN, free until January 31st as part of their annual holiday gift. Also included in the holiday gift package is a 25 EUR/USD/GBP voucher to be spent at the NI online shop. NI says that , capturing the distinctive sound of bamboo and steel, YANGQIN delivers the beautifully melodic tones of a traditional Chinese hammered dulcimer. They tell us that the instrument combines authentic sounds recorded on location in China with a variety of intuitive parameter controls such as scale, intensity and tremolo modulation, which give exceptional levels of control over a broad range of emotive textures and timbres.

YANGQIN runs in KONTAKT 6 and the free KONTAKT 6 PLAYER.
