Become A Bass Detective

US SoundGym's new ear training game designed to help you to shape your low-end      23/08/19

SoundGym has announced Bass Detective, a new ear training game added to their audio ear training platform. They say that this game is designed to help users detect low frequencies so they can make more accurate decisions when shaping low-end while producing and mixing.

The basis of the game is that a peaking (Bell) EQ filter is used to boost a certain frequency range from 50hz to 400hz. Players use the EQ on/off buttons to compare the equalized and non-equalized sounds and find the boosted frequency.

Bass Detective is the 16th sound game on SoundGym. It is a Pro game (available for SoundGym Pro members) but is open to SoundGym Free members for the weekend (until August 25th) to try out.

Pricing and Availability:
SoundGym provides audio ear training online. Basic membership is free, an account can be created here.
