Down the road from us in Brostol UK,  the folks at MiniRig have been making robust, powerful, portable sound systems for some time. Our very own contributor Gaz Williams, sings the praises of his MiniRig system, which has the optional sub unit - it sounds massive!

They just got in touch to let us know about their new Minirig Mini, which features a custom 2.5 inch 15 watt driver, tough enclosure, Bluetooth connectivity and a 30 hour battery life.

There's a MiniRig app for Android which lets you pair up more than one, set custom EQ curves and more.
