FAC Plug-Ins Now Available On Mac OSX

US AuV3-based effects are now available for Logic Pro X and more      21/03/18

Fred Anton Corvest has been in touch to tell us that all of the FAC plug-ins are now available on macOS in addition to iOS.

The plug-ins are based on the new audio unit v3 technologies which is currently supported by Logic Pro X, Garage Band and Hosting AU. Here’s FAC’s description of each:

• FAC Chorus: This may be the chorus you've been looking for the whole time
• FAC Maxima: Acts like a super compressor or limiter to ensure levels stay below 0dB
• FAC Transient: Emphasize or tame the transients, extend or shorten the sustain part
