The Inception soundtrack was a Zimmer classic - orchestral, cinematic, synthy and memorable, Mr Z did a great job. This single instrument cover version by John Heath, with the help of plenty of multi-tracking and FX is a tour de force. Only using the Arturia MiniBrute, which is of course, a mono synth. Talk about setting yourself a difficult challenge..

But its really very well done, the emotion and movement is skilfully executed. But perhaps its just a real labour of love to layer all that and add the dynamics in so well.

In the description John says:

Recorded every note/part individually on 132 audio tracks. Submixed down to 18 for final mix. Every note played on the MiniBrute. No other external controllers were used. DAW used for recording and editing/engineering audio was Propellerhead Reason 9.5. Enjoy!!
