John Foxx is the subject of the latest episode of Electronic Independence, a series of video interviews with prominent electronic musicians.

This episode is especially interesting for synth geeks, both for its interview with Foxx and the tour of the studio, which features an amazing collection of vintage gear.

Foxx is best known for his work with Ultravox and as a solo artist. In addition, he's released several albums of ambient music.

His latest album, with John Foxx and the Maths, is 2011's Interplay
