Bizarre circuit bent and hacked toy instruments are standard fare on YouTube and eBay, but are seldom seen elsewhere.

This video, though, captures a performance by 'sound sculptor' Henry Dagg and his one-of-a-kind Cat Organ, which is based on 16 squeeky toy cats. His Cat Organ rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow, at the START Festival brought fits of laughter to The Prince Of Wales, as this official video captures.

The START Festival is an event designed to promote sustainable living.

Dagg's Cat Organ recalls the Katzenklavier, an unusual 17th century instrument that consisted of a line of cats fixed in place with their tails stretched out underneath a keyboard. The cats would be arranged according to the natural tone of their voices, and they would cry out when a key was pressed.
