Here's the press release...

The resurgence of the world famous Studiomaster professional audio brand continues with the launch of several new product lines at this year's Prolight + Sound, and twice the stand space as last year. Among the new products marking a first for Studiomaster is the KM150V, the company's first professional recording microphone.
With over 30 years experience in designing mixing desks and high quality pre-amps Studiomaster knows a thing or two about what makes a great mic. The KM150V is a multi-pattern condenser. A classic valve deign, it features a one inch pressure gradient gold spattered dual diaphragm, coupled to a specially selected low noise tube.
Switchable polar patterns – between omni, cardioid or bi-directional (figure eight) operation – provide far greater versatility than other fixed pattern affordable tube designs. A switchable hi-pass filter and 10dB attenuator further aid this flexibility. An external power supply is provided for the tube preamp, giving exceptional signal to noise performance.
The microphone is supplied with a heavy duty suspension mount, windscreen, power supply, 7pin mic cable and a lightweight aluminium carry case.

About Studiomaster
With a heritage dating back to 1976, the Studiomaster brand is synonymous with innovation, quality and value in PA and mixing console design and manufacture. Purchased by the Soundking Group of China in 2008, the brand has been effectively relaunched with significant re-investment in both successful existent product lines and new lines extending the brands portfolio across a wider range of market sectors, including MI, professional audio and commercial audio. The company continues to be headquartered in the UK where it maintains its sales, marketing, product development and R&D facilities. Manufacturing is handled entirely within the Soundking Group, giving the new Studiomaster company access to very significant economies of scale while providing rigorous standards of quality control.
