Here's the Korg press release...
The new Pa50SD improves Korg's top-selling Professional Arranger keyboard by introducing SD card data storage in place of the older floppy disk drive on the original Pa50. SD cards offer great convenience via extended memory capacities, speed (no loading required) and reliability (the drives have no moving parts). Additionally, the cards themselves are not adversely affected by magnetic fields in the same way as floppy disks.
Ideal for the casual performer or the budget-minded musician, the Pa50SD delivers the most important elements of the Pa Series Style engine, following the performer's voice leading, chording and timing for instant, on-the-fly arrangements. Featuring Korg's powerful TRITON-based synthesis, the Pa50SD offers a wide variety of acoustic and electric sounds. It features four stereo multi-effects, assignable pads and a large, easily readable LCD screen. The XDS Dual Song Player allows one song to play as another song loads. Players can then use the built-in crossfader to provide seamless segues. Sixty-one velocity-sensing keys and an on-board stereo sound system round out the Pa50SD package.
Pricing and Availability:
The Pa50SD carries an MSRP of $1149.00 (no change from the Pa50) and is available now. More information:
