EdgeSounds has announced the immediate availability of the Essential Vibraphone sample sound library in GigaStudio 3 and NI Kontakt 2 formats.
EdgeSounds tell us that the Essential Vibraphone sample library is aimed at music creating professionals demanding the highest degree of authenticity in the sound of any instrument. They say that the DVD-ROM contains 4.5 GB of highest quality stereo vibraphone samples comprising 12 exceptional 6-layer program banks which capture the sound of the Yamaha YV-3300 model vibraphone. Each note was sampled individually using Neumann TLM 103 and UM-57 microphones. The disk contains muted and open vibraphone sound, straight or slow-vibrato, tremolos and up/down glissandos.
