One of the highlights of the recent MESSE in Frankfurt was the release of the Native Instruments Guitar Rig - a virtual guitar amp and effects rack with hardware foot controller/interface. The company have now announced the first software update for the package adding a fourth amp module based on the famous Vox AC-30, three new effect units and several further enhancements. New Features
  • "AC-Box" (Vox AC-30-based amplifier)
  • "Treble Booster" (distortion unit)
  • "Psychedelay" (reverse delay with detune)
  • "Pitch Pedal" (polyphonic pitch shifter)
  • More than 50 additional presets which make use of the new components
  • "Audio Engine Off" button to temporarily free up CPU capacity
  • Various minor improvements, cosmetic changes and fixes The 1.1 update for Windows and Mac is now available as a free download for all registered GUITAR RIG users. A GUITAR RIG demo version for Windows and Mac OS X is also available as a free download on the NI website More info:
