Clavia have released an upgraded Nord Lead 2 - the 2X. The sounds and interface have been maintained but they have increased the onboard memory massively, allowing less reliance on additional PCMCIA memory cards.

Patches produced for the Nord Lead 2 will be fully supported by the 2X and can be uploaded via MIDI. They haven't let the price out yet but we'll try and prise it from them on the show floor.

Well we've now got the price so here it is: Euros 1495/ US $1495
