A the MACWORLD EXPO 2001, in NEW YORK, Emagic presented an integrated suite of software and hardware products for Mac OS X. Now in beta form, final Mac OS X versions of Logic Audio 5.0, and drivers for the Unitor8 MkII, AMT8 and MT4 MIDI interfaces and the EMI 2|6 audio interface will be available in September 2001. Emagic are keen to show that their coders are right on the money and to give assure users of the Mac platform that they will continue to develop for it. This could be an interesting time as Apple announced price drops on several models. Perhaps this could be the time to consider a Mac... Requirements and Availability
Logic Audio, Unitor8 MkII, AMT8 and MT4 MIDI interfaces and the EMI 2|6 audio interface for Mac OS X products were developed and tested to form an ideal integrated audio production solution for Mac OS X; it is perfect for both desktop based and mobile, laptop based studios. It is expected that Logic Audio, Unitor8 MkII, AMT8 and MT4 MIDI interfaces and the EMI 2|6 audio interface for Mac OS X will ship in September 2001. Logic Audio for Mac OS 9 and for Mac OS X are being developed concurrently and will both be available in September 2001, helping to provide a smooth transition to Mac OS X.
