Steinberg VST 5.0 for June

Steinberg have announced that the newest version of their VST programme V5.0 is to be released in June. Features will include the availability of 32-bit digital recording with Apopee's UV 22 dithering; a new plug-in architecture allowing 8 effects per channel and 4 inserts; TrueTape Technology that allows for an analogue feel; an infinite number of tracks can be placed in folders for easier organisation; and greater customisation capabilities. The software will also come with the Universal Sound Module- a virtual synth containing over 70 Mb of sounds, and the ability to jam with other musicians online at www.cubase.net.
