I had a freind ask me to help him get this machine set up for him. - He's new to technology. I have to say that I was scratching my head for a while till I got the idea of how it works. The front panel is not terribly intuitive but once you grasp the way they do the parameter access it's ok. 12 tracks of playback plus loads od virtual tracks etc means you can get a lot out of this machine. But you will have to dig deep into the menu driven 248x60 LCD. It's does sound pretty good and has a number of sync functions. As with most non linear disc based ssystems you can cut and paste to your hearts desire with a prett handy scrub feature its possible to locate the exact edit point. I beleive that there is support for communication with a software editor which will mean all this will become MUCH easier T

Good Points All in one, pretty good value with a number of nifty features albeit a little hard to find. Bad Points If you're not used to parameter access then it's hard to get going but once you figure it you'll be flying around. |
