1/4" two track analog recorder running at 7.5 and 15ips. Two channels of tube electronics and an ultra reliable, bulletproof transport. More hit records were mastered on this recorder than all digital formats combined. Please reread the last sentence.

Good Points Excellent sound, engineered to operate 18 hours per day, 7 days per week for a decade or two. Mine just passed 40 years of age and will probably last another 40 or so. Bad Points Requires some basic skills to operate and maintain. Doesn't fit in a fanny pack. |
