This is an vintage FET-compressor from the early/mid-seventies. The Compex(the nickname of the F760) is divided in three sections, which are seperately usuable: a compressor, a(peak)limiter, and either a gate or an expander. It got a very unique sound compared to other FET-based compressors, like an UREI 1176. The most famous recording you can hear the compex is: When the levee breaks" by Led Zeppelin(notice the drum room exploding). This piece is great as parralelcompressor.

Good Points
The colouration of the sound is very pleasant, because of its harmonic distotion. You can drive the input to recieve more "beef".
Bad Points
The switches are very strange, gotta get used to it.
