I have the M-GS64 as my gig rig and the sc-88st at home in my studio along with the scd-70 and a Roland XP-60. I use 2 different versions of cakewalk, proaudio 9 for midi with audio tracks and then for my life show I use cakewalk professional 3.1 ( the whole program fit on one floppy disc!) it loads instantly!! for a copy www.dwguitar.com go to the bottom of the page. When I use it with the M-GS64 it is a killer live midi show great sounds!! -dw

I use it on stage and for recording....I would definately buy it again Its bulletproof once you get it setup....I use cakewalk and the sc88 map works flawlessly with it If anyone wants to sell one...write Me Good clear sounds.......

My experience with the M-GS64 is that once you get it to actually WORK

and perform the functions you want it to, it will really sound impressive.

I had to jump through hoops to utilize its four individual outputs(which is

the biggest reason I bought it to begin with!), and if it wasn't for an Italian

sending me a PILE of system exclusive messages my unitcould have very well

ended up in pieces after being smashed up against a wall by me. Now that I have it up and running, I'm really impressed with how GREAT it

sounds, and all the hard work was really worth it! One more downside...

...Roland discontinued it recently and I heard they abandoned their whole

GS line. That figures!
