I have owned my PC88 for 12 years, but have only recently used it for big public shows. I agree on the action, since it compares well to other keyboards, but it still does not compare to a piano when playing rapid repeated notes.

I am not a techie and don't understand how to use the technical features. And I am wondering what battery everyone is talking about? I thought I just plugged it in and it goes.

I likewise am confused about the rave comments accompanied bny 0 out of 5 rating.

I have owned my PC88 for many years now. It has been my workhorse for a lot of live play and a controller that no one can touch. Best thing is it has Strong Sounds and the best key action without fail. Used continually and would not trade it for the world. Only complaint is that it does not have a build in sequencer. But I can live with that.

Just inherited a PC88 but no sound is coming out. Apparently sound was fading last time someone played it. Anyone know what would cause this? Could a flat battery cause this? Any hints much appreciated.

I wonder... Why are you praising your keyboards, and then leave a negative rating? Like: "-I LOOOOVE my PC-88... Rating 1 out of 5..."

I have a pc88mx and I love it. I haven't used it very much at all. My husband builds furniture and he put the keyboard in a mahogany piano-like piece of furniture. It is outstandingly beautiful. The best part is the keyboard can be taken out at any time if it needs to be transported. I'm thinking about selling the Kurzweil just because I don't have room for it anymore. If anyone is interested, they can email me. Thanks
