The farfisa fast 3. Well it's ok. Has some cool capabilities but after a while it's tooty happy sound wears off. The organ sounds kinda gay. As far as Farfisa's go, the compact organs have the tone. The fast 3 is only good for corny 60's garage. The fast 4 and fast 5 however, have some real purpose.

Through the right amp, there is no better organ than a Fast 3... Except, of course, a Fast 4 or 5. I use mine for contemporary jazz.

The Fast 3 is a surprisingly versitale combo organ from the late sixties. With seven sound tabs to choose from, plus two options for vibrato and absolutely beautiful bass from the lowest octave, there are several combinations of tones available. Its a pure organ, so don't expect to use this keyboard for anything else. There's an intensisty to its tones that simply can't be duplicated in modern synth reproductions. Combo organs have a real sense of life in their tones, and the Fast 3 is an excellent, if small, representative of that family. Of course, the sound is suited best to Sixties pop and soul, but also holds up surprisingly well as a rhythm instrument for reggae and ska as well. Soloing on a Farfisa is a religious experience, and the Fast 3 is no exception, cutting a swathe straight through the bass, guitar and drums!
