SONIC TALK 151 - LIVE
After last weeks riotous celebrations, it's back to the relative calm of a regular show - if it can ever be called calm, remember we stream live! This week, Nick bangs the drum - the new Korg Wavedrum that is - just arrived at Sonic Towers for evaluation, eager to hear it are Dave Spiers  from GForce Software, Rich Hilton  - top flight producer, engineer and player - just back from Buenos Aires where he performed with disco supergroup Chic and Mark Tinley  sound artist and creative thinker, fresh from a confrontation with an errant teenager.

We start with a quick burst of wavedrum, then discuss the recent BBC documentary Synth Britannia - in which the formative years of UK electro pop is explored - a cracking watch for UK folks. Then we move on to the amazing talking piano, a brief chat about parallel compression an then the amazing Brett Domino Stylophone Beatbox rap medley. Another piano based topic with the piano stairs of TheFunTheory.com people, then we end with an exploration of grumpiness and old age and attitudes to music.
