It's been a while since we've seen John Price in the flesh, and as a result, we've a bit to catch up with. First up is the brand new USB Solo, a USB version of the brilliant Pro Solo MIDI-> CV and Gate converter. Then there's the LND-R MIDI line driver, a pari of boxes that send MIDI over standard CAT5 cable with a runs of up to 750m with no signal degradation. After that, we look at the Merge-4 - which merges four MIDI inputs but features intelligent switching - so you can send clock to any of the four inputs, the unit takes the first one and makes that the master clock, passing it through to the dual MIDI outs. Send a MIDI clock stop, and any other clock source will take over. Very useful for running the master clock from a number of different sources. Lastly, the Thru-5 - take a MIDI input and copy it to 5 MIDI outputs. For more information on the Kenton range:
