Michael Oster founded F7 Sound and Vision in 1993. Since then he has released shed loads of sound effects CDRoms from his website www.f7sound.com. His latest SFX CD features in the movie Pirates of the Carribean - Dead Man's Chest. In Going Solo, he tells us about his latest venture 'The Difficult Listening Channel'. A series of podcasts that layer sound effects, field recordings and digital abuse (his term) to create complex soundscapes and sonic washes. Oster deconstructs one of his recordings and talks about how he created the individual layers and sounds.
