Hamilton Metalcraft, from Pasadina are the makers of custom cases for instruments effects pedals. Scott explained that everything starts with an idea that someone brings to them for a new product, such as a keyboard, amplifier, or pedal. Since they are a job shop, everything is made to order, and there are no standard cases on the shelf. They work with customers to create a specific case design, which can be a rack unit, a box, or a rack with no surroundings and just a front panel. They offers various finishes, such as paint and anodized.
Hamilton Metalcraft have a variety of machines, such as laser machines and punch presses, which are used for countersinking and presses which measure the material thickness and compensate for it. This makes it accurate from end to end and prevents bowing.
