Spitfire BBC Symphony Orchestra Library Out Today

Spitfire today launch their BBC Symphonic Orchestra Library - made in partnership with the BBC Symphonic Orchestra (which is kind of a big deal) and recorded at the legendary Maida Vale studios - home of the orchestra for more than 50 years. This facility is being decommissioned so it also represents a snapshot of orchestral recording - being a highly regarded space with its own unique sound.

BBC Symphonic Orchestra features an entire orchestra in one library with multiple sections represented. Priced at £899 (introductory price of £679 till Nov 7th) although it may seem pricey, there's very few options at this price point for an entire orchestra. Some string only libraries can cost many hundreds of pounds alone. 

As such it represents a library that allows for full orchestra scoring and also portability, for collaborative works, its unusual for two composers to have the same set of libraries.
