DPW Designs are from Sweden, previous products include the MOG D1 a 4 band distortion with parallel channels, they made the trip over to Cymru Beats and showed us their new Wavefolder Module WF-1.

Its a highly configurable wavefolder module capable of some highly complex processing of both audio and control signals. Both symmetrical and asymmetrical folds can be achieved. It also has a built-in limiter and distortion circuit, which can also be modulated when used in conjunction with the E-1 expander you can control the Limit and Distortion functions into audio rates.

The shapes it throws on the scope are truly beautiful, plus it sounds pretty good as well. The price is also a bonus at around €200.
