Softube's Console 1 is an hardware controller designed to give you hands on control in a channel strip style to all channels in your DAW - EQ, Gate, Compression and channel selection - many in the box pros swear by them.

There's two big bits of news are that of interest, first is that there's a 40% drop in price. And the second is that there's now support for 60 UAD plug-ins. That means you can control those plugs via the Console 1 hardware, making the integration even more.
