We knew this one was coming, the MEK was let slip late last year on the forums. Being a Dave Smith instrument, it comes with a prodigious pedigree that stretches back over a number of decades of landmark synth design. Obviously one of our first ports of call had to be to see it for ourselves, so we did just that. The Mono Evolver Keyboard takes the exact same architecture as the rest of the Evolver series for total compatibillity with the range. Featuring a four oscillator structure, two analog and two digital. Of course, the legendary Curtis filter chips are a big factor in giving (Dave has a personal and exclusive supply from source) the MEK it's unique sound. The Mono Evolver Keyboard is just undergoing final voice tweaking and should be shipping April with a price of around $1200 US
