Following on from Gaz Williams' look at using Cubase Tempo detection to allow the grid to follow live recorded performances - without afecting the recorded audio, Gaz takesa look at the Chord Track feature.


The Cubase Chord Track allows you to create melodic structure changes on the fly with both MIDI and audio tracks.


By using these techniques its possible to completely shift the musical content of an arrangement to make the MIDI data and also recorded audio (monophonic) to reflect changes you make to the Chord Track - its a very powerful arrangement and songwriting technique.
