On the Akai, Numark stand at BPM was a prototype, MPK Mini - the new MIDI controller featuring both 8 MPC style pads - velocity sensitive (not pressure), 8 assignable knobs and a 25-key mini MIDI keyboard. There are two layers to the knobs and pads, giving a total of 16 pads and 16 controls.

The unit is bus powered over USB. Coming "before Christmas" priced at £69 UK pounds.
