I really like the THR10, and the update sounds like it will be worthwhile, although I did think that using the software editor really helps you get the most out of the amp. And BB1970, the bass amp model in the THR10 is quite usable.

Pretty cool! So this is a software update to upgrade the original THR5 and THR10? If not then they should call it Mark II or something. In this day and age a software upgrade should be the norm. Surprised Line 6 is one of the few companies doing this.

Can't update with Apple Mavericks system. No USB driver nor the V2 software version. I hope they fix this soon!

I have updated last night without any problems: 1. download and install Mac driver before plugin into amp: Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver V1.8.3 for Mac link:

2. after 1. installing and restarting, download and install: THR Editor V1.0.0 for Mac OS X (10.5.8 or later) and THR V2 Updater for Mac read the manuals inside installations

3. connect to THR10 with the USB confirm that it is visible in THR Editor

4. follow the steps in user guide in THR V2 Updater to update the Amp Hope this helps

I love my THR but please include a footswitch on the next version. Also, my new THR has an annoying buzz. I've even noticed the buzz on the youtube demonstration videos. I hope that gets fixed in the update.
