SONIC LAB: Erica Synths Nightverb Performance Reverb

US Desktop unit collab with 112dB      06/08/24

Erica Synths and 112dB team up once again to present the Nightverb, a powerful stereo reverb unit with advanced functionalities. Its capability to handle long decay tails and reverb times enables the creation of ambient textures and expansive soundscapes. The Nightverb is built with a robust aluminium shell, featuring 15 dials, USB and MIDI connectivity, and a footswitch input, making it a versatile tool for both studio and live performances.

The Nightverb's unique features include a freeze function to infinitely loop sounds and a 'dirty mode' for grittier, more textured reverb effects. It supports 30 factory presets and 70 user slots, with easy preset exports via USB. The device stands out for its tactile feedback and the ability to handle high input gain without unwanted distortion, thus allowing a wide range of creative expressions.

Built to encourage experimentation, the Nightverb is priced around €490 (approx. £411). Its performance and versatility make it a valuable addition for electronic music producers and live performers, particularly those in genres requiring lush, evolving reverb effects. The designers, Erica Synths and 112dB, have ensured that Nightverb not only meets but exceeds expectations for modern reverb requirements.

Matths takes a kook for us.
